  • Walk the Medicine Plant Trail at the Junaluska Memorial

  • See 400 year-old poplars and 98 other tree species at Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest

  • Walk or drive Tatham Gap Trail, part of the original Trail of Tears, off of Long Branch Road in downtown Robbinsville (Includes about 10 miles of gravel road.)

  • Picnic along the scenic Cherohala among panoramic mountain views and ancient meadows.

  • Hike the Appalachian Trail through the Snowbird and Cheoah Mountains.

  • Hike the Bartram Trail, taken by the famous botanist through this region.
